Community Sustainability Grant
Not for profit groups can apply for up to $5,000 for projects that deliver renewable energy, waste reduction, low carbon travel, sustainable food production, biodiversity improvements or community education.

Nature-based Learning Grant
Council’s Nature-based Learning Grant provides up to $2,000 for school excursions that connect children with nature in a way that results in a greater awareness and appreciation of sustainable living and the natural world.
In 2016/17, 13 schools (1,389 students) received grant funding for a range of excursions including trips to the reef and rainforest. See downloads section for more detail.

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) ECOarts grant provides between $500 and $1,500 towards projects that have an environmentally-based arts and cultural practice, highlight a sustainability challenge or celebrate local biodiversity. To find out more, head to Council's RADF grants webpage.
